I have seen that some storage limit is written in pricing section. For example for free usage storage limit is 100MB. Is this the limit on the server? Can I use as many storage as I want on my own pc?(Local usage)

Hi,

Yes, there are some limits regarding attachments, when you are using cloud space, they are uploaded to the server and this is the limit which you have for the free plan.

You can use as many storages and documents as you want, there is no limit in documents in that sense.

If you need a local space only application with unlimited (locally stored) attachments space, you can use the local app: https://github.com/BoostIO/BoostNote.next-local.

Or, you can buy more storage with cloud-based spaces plans.

Is there a way to keep the local storage as MD files?

No, unfortunately, the notes are kept as JSON files at the moment, but there was some request of having both.
