Vouch request: mpereira

[mpereira]

What do you want to work on?

I just created a few issues and one feature request for stuff I bumped into when trying out OpenShell, that I could work on:

• bug: install.sh ignores XDG_CONFIG_HOME for the local gateway config
• bug: install.sh waits 30s when the Linux gateway service fails to start
• feat: add a command to check a policy file before creating a sandbox
• bug: sandbox from a USER root image fails with an unexplained "UID or GID zero" error
• bug: Docker driver pulls every tag of a repository when --from has no tag

I also have some ideas to contribute:

• Benchmarks in CI measuring OpenShell overhead versus running outside OpenShell
• A Telegram bridge for human approval of draft policy chunks
• Documentation that is executed against real OpenShell versions so it cannot rot

Why this change?

I think some of the issues, if resolved, would provide a better user experience.

Checklist

• I wrote this request myself (not AI-generated)
• I have read CONTRIBUTING.md
