Summary*

Add a useful Git or GitHub tip for beginners learning open source contribution workflows.


Context*

Many beginners struggle with Git commands and workflows when making their first contributions.

This issue allows contributors to:

  • practice documentation edits
  • help future beginners
  • improve community learning resources

Why is this needed?

Practical Git tips improve contributor onboarding and reduce confusion for first-time open source contributors.


Tasks

  • Fork the repository
  • Add one Git/GitHub tip
  • Include a short explanation
  • Ensure formatting consistency
  • Submit a pull request

Acceptance criteria*

  • Tip is accurate and beginner-friendly
  • Formatting remains clean
  • No duplicate tips are added
  • Pull request follows contribution guidelines
