Italian and latin languages

Anyone is using coqui tts for reading italian and other latin languages (basically spanish and french for me) i had a lot of troubles with punctuation basically with dot that was read as a word and generate strange sounds afther it. I solved that removing dots and change with semicolon or colon, part automated but a big part of the work is manual (basically for mixed text). Need to have some ideas to improve quality level of output, maybe sharing experience we can have a better speech.
