Hint rapidfire

[bvergnaud]

Hi there ! 👋🏻

New to the project and I'm incredibly hyped ! Used to daily drive qutebrowser for a few years, nowadays Firefox, and Glide is exactly at the sweet spot between the two. Well done !

One thing I'd love seeing ported over from qutebrowser is the hint rapid fire mode: enter hint mode and let the user click a bunch of things in succession without exiting after a match.

Exiting hint mode becomes manual.
For links, it implies being able to open them in new tabs without immediately focusing on them, which differs from the current "hint to new tab" behaviour.

Cheers !
