Disk Analyzer now draws the folder you are looking at as a map, so the folder eating your disk is the biggest
block. Click a block to open that folder, the same as the list's arrow.
Each subfolder is a block sized by the space it uses, drawn from the entries the list already has, so nothing new
is scanned and the map and the list always show the same folder. One level at a time: Up works for both.
Every folder big enough for its name gets a block of its own, decided on the real size of the map, so a wider
window shows more. The rest, and the files loose in the folder, share one grey "Other" block whose tooltip says
what it holds.
One colour, the theme's accent, lighter for smaller blocks, with the text colour chosen per block so it reads on
every preset.
Clicking a block opens that folder; right-clicking offers Show in Explorer, as the list does. Hovering shows the
name, size and share. Each block is a button in size order with its name, size and share for a screen reader,
and Enter opens it. A folder that could not all be read carries the list's warning mark.
"Hide map" gives the list its full height back on a small screen, and is remembered. With no subfolder to draw,
there is no map and the list's own message speaks.
This build is not code-signed, so Windows will warn on first launch. That is
expected for a small independent app: see what the warning says and what to
click.
Code signing is planned through the SignPath Foundation,
which provides free certificates to open-source projects, with signing performed by SignPath.io. Until then, the SHA256 above and the build
attestation below are what establish that a download is the genuine build.
Code signing policy
This release is not code-signed. The team roles, release-approval process and
privacy policy required by the SignPath Foundation programme
are documented in advance under Code signing
policy. That
documentation is a prerequisite for applying, not evidence of a certificate. The
attribution line naming SignPath as the signing provider will appear here once a
certificate is actually issued.
This program will not transfer any information to other networked systems unless
specifically requested by the user or the person installing or operating it. Full privacy policy.
Verify where this binary came from
This exe was built by GitHub Actions from this public source, and the build is
recorded in the Sigstore public transparency log. With the GitHub CLI:
That proves which commit and workflow produced this exact binary, something the
SHA256 file cannot show, since it is published alongside the exe it describes.
Each release also ships SysManager-v1.119.0.sbom.json, a CycloneDX inventory of
every dependency resolved for this build.
