Can crazyflie_brushless's ESC use 3D mode of bl_heli / bluejay?

Hi, i'm using brushless model of crazyflie.
so i wonder if i use ESC Configurator to use motor with bi-directional setup and generate thrust in the opposite direction,
I read on a blog that the bidirectional setting is intended for obtaining RPM data, and I’d like to know whether this setting can also be used to generate thrust in the opposite direction.

"Bidirectional" in bidirectional DShot implies that communication is both ways, not that the motor spins the opposite direction. Whether the motor is reversible, I'm not sure. Definitely not out of the box, but maybe with hardware modification. @tobbeanton may be able to help out with that.

I considered modifying the firmware.
if i can push the opposite directional signal to motor 1~4 using ESC configurator, I think I can set motor both direction with 3D mode.
if there are any useful ways, i will try that.

The ESC HW should have support for this but it is not supported in software.
