When will commit 7bf8d3bd be included in a release?

Hi 👋 I'm interested in the changes from commit 7bf8d3b ("fix: support signing of saml requests"). It looks like it's on main but isn't in the latest release (v26.2.0) yet.

Is there a planned release that will include it, and any rough timeline? Thanks!

7bf8d3bd is on main, but it is not in a released tag yet.

The latest GitHub release is still v26.2.0, published on 2026-03-20. The v26.2.0 tag points to a March 20 merge, while 7bf8d3bd was committed on April 3. A tag containment check also returns no tags for that commit.

So yes, it missed v26.2.0. I do not see a public release schedule that says exactly when it will ship. Only a maintainer can give that part with confidence.

If you need to verify a future release, this is the quick check:

git fetch --tags
git tag --contains 7bf8d3bd

Until that returns a release tag, the practical options are to build from main or pin/test that specific commit if you need the SAML signing change before the next release.
