Is it still necessary to have the camera and phantom cameras without parents ? #617
|
In my setup the camera is in the player scene with a phantom camera. And i might have to use phantom cameras in my world scenes. I thought i'd have to use two cameras (one for player and one for the world) and switch between them but it turns out it seems to work with only the player's camera. |

That page is a bit outdated, and noticed a minor technical thing that should be changed in the addon itself; will update that shortly.
That said, the structure shouldn't have any practical significance.
Both of the hierarchy examples below should work and result in the same outcome as you move around a
follow targetand switch between thePCams.Camera nested inside player scene | 2 PCams in the world scene
Camera + PCam nested inside player scene | 1 PCam in the world scene
If that is what you meant?
