Gap:

armed_night may not match with "bedtime" in all places and all times and neither match with daylight/sun position.
If someone wants to quiet non-critical notifications when asleep, that will be long after darkness in winter and long after sunrise in summer for northerly latitudes.

HomeAssistant doesn't seem to have a good solution for the bedtime case, although SuperNotify Cards has "bands" and Auto Arm has both calendar driven timing and diurnal overrides.

However, from the alarm control panel docs:

"Night mode is designed for sleeping hours, keeping perimeter sensors and select interior zones active while allowing movement in bedrooms and bathrooms."

So maybe it does work, so long as ARMED_NIGHT not used to gate lights being switched on, and that's done solely by sun position or an illuminance sensor.
