It is frustrating when you must run Steam in offline and your SE saves are gone = They use Workshop mods.

Doing 10GB copy of workshop mods to C drive "appdata" is worthless as when you go online Steam update mods and you not know what mod was updated.

SE uses a separate save location when steam is offline, this is the issue rather than mods.

To fix this, you can go to %AppData%\SpaceEngineers\saves and create a symlink - name it 1234567891011 (you may have to rename the existing folder with that name) and point it to the folder with your steam id as the name.

You'll need to be running command prompt as admin to use the mklink command.

The guide you listed didn't help as mods aren't related to the issue at hand.

Your guide on making NTFS symlink on my IDsavegame folder and rename it to second random number folder SE created in offline mode = worked.
However SE list saves but...

all Mods are RED even my home brew (house Icon) ones that are stored in appdata/... Mods folder.
Creating symlink for mods2 as "mods" folder not work this time.
Seems SE ignore symlink on mods folder

MY play save game will not load without mods (just crash at loading) As my saves use planet mods and game thinks saves are corrupted if that mod is missing. (i find out that is game bug keen not want to fix)

I test this my self as i have one "clean world" for testing mods and that as (clean/no mods) loads with symlink trick.
