Predbat doesn't have a way of feeding in external loads as you suggest, and Predheat is complex and relies on a number of assumptions for heat loss, etc. But you can achieve most of the end outcome by using Load ML as your energy load predictor in Predbat. It has a temperature input and will learn how your energy use changes with outside temperature and predicts house energy based on forecast temperature |

Just spent a pleasant sunday afternoon transitioning from a bunch of shonky HA automations to predbat. Is currently managing powerwall2 and IOG. first overnight thrown up some interesting race conditions in PW2 settings but should be solvable.
I'd like to add my heat pump to it but I'm not convinced predheat is the solution I want, there should be a simpler way:
I have an openenergy monitor style setup on my heat pump. I have flow rate, flow temperature, return temperature DT, heat kw and kwh, electrical kw and kwh, outdoor temperature, both in real time, and historical going back more than a year.
How can I point predbat at the HA energy/power/temp sensors that I already have for heat pump has so it learns and plans it as a dynamic outside-temperature dependent load (and then manages battery to suit)?
