It sounds like you haven't fully configured your apps.yaml for car charging https://springfall2008.github.io/batpred/car-charging/#configure-appsyaml-for-your-car-charging You need to decide whether you want Predbat or Octopus led charging and then set all the sensors and config options up for that charging approach. The errors you are getting indicate that your apps.yaml hasn't been configurd to point to the myenergy integration https://springfall2008.github.io/batpred/devices/#zappi On your other question, predbat should do this automatically, giving you the lowest cost plan based on your solar forecast, house load, battery soc, import and export rates, export limit, etc. |

Uh oh!

I suspect a very basic 'error' in Predbat setup. If I set the number of cars to '1' I get the following:
yaml errors:
car_charging_planned - none
car_charging_limit - none
car_charging_soc - none
watch list - all invalid?
I've installed the Myenergi integration - makes no difference. IOG plus Zappi with Octopus control.
Another quick question - I have a 3.6k export limit with a 5kW solar inverter. If the batteries are full then the solar is clipped to 3.6. How do I stop Predbat from charging to 100% overnight so that there is enough battery 'space' for the solar? May not be that simple i.e. requires something like :
If the next days solar is expected to be over 3.6kW for 'n' hours then reduce the maximum overnight charge. Don't forget about typical house load - and if the heat pump kicks in don't bother ....
