@nicoloboschi @benfrank241 just in case you missed this, I do think these suggested changes would allow hindsight to scale beyond the current "memory for agent" current product positioning. Happy to discuss. |

Hey thanks for the writeup! Feel free to open up separate PRs and we will have a look. |

Sorry folks, I posted this in the "Ideas" section hoping for a discussion about "ideas". It doesn't look like adoption and community is a thing for hindsight? @benfrank241 with all due respect if you wanted a PR, you can hand the document over to your favourite agent. What I asked is whether this direction made sense to your project, that you own and commercialise, or whether I'm plain wasting my time. It's quite possible that I'm not a typical customer, or likewise that I'm facing problems other are facing. I don't blindly let my agents deploy PRs on my behalf - I have pride in great software and my time is spend maintaining standards, strategy, and alignment. This is not a 1-line bug fix. So unless someone on your side has the business acumen or just 5 minutes to go through it, I'm going to close for good hygiene...

Hello people,
I've been going through the hindsight codebase quite extensively to figure out how well it suits what I'm trying to achieve.
I've formed a very opinion that some design decisions may have been taken with "agent memory" goal in mind, for instance "decay window" and "observation trend window".
I've prepared the attached plan that I would be interested in contributing if you'll have it.
TLDR: essentially extending some of the configs
_CONFIGURABLE_FIELDS, adding storage and retrieval capabilities, enriching some aspects of the data stored. Are you able to review the attached document and confirm whether you would
I don't think this is "major rework", but I would also want someone on your end to properly vet the resulting work.. You definitely know your thing better than I do, and likewise Postgres..
Not sure on my timeframe at this stage. If interested, I'm happy to work with someone on your side to get this out.
