GRC_Claw

The Kubernetes of AI Governance — Open-source ISO 42001 / Agentic AI Governance Chassis.

GRC_Claw is the first open-source governance platform purpose-built for the agent economy. Agents are first-class citizens with cryptographic identity, not afterthoughts bolted onto human-centric GRC.

The Crosswalk Corpus

The 375+ framework control mappings stored in the live A2Z SOC database are GRC_Claw's most defensible asset. They express, for every control in every supported framework, exactly which controls in peer frameworks are equivalent or overlapping — so a single evidence artifact can satisfy requirements across multiple audits simultaneously.

  • 20+ frameworks covered: ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, PCI DSS, GDPR, FedRAMP, CMMC, CIS Controls, DORA, NIS2, EU AI Act, COBIT 2019, HITRUST CSF, CSA CCM v4, IEC 62443, NERC CIP, NIST Privacy Framework, ISO 22301, and more
  • 2,500+ unique controls indexed
  • Exposed via the Crosswalk API at a2zsoc.com/crosswalk-api
  • Consumed by @grc-claw/framework-crosswalk and the CLI grc diff command

Custom Quote Framework

GRC_Claw uses a custom quote model — no fixed pricing. Each organization receives a tailored quote based on:

Dimension Factors
Scale Number of agents, models, policies, evidence volume
Complexity Frameworks required, custom integrations, multi-tenancy
Deployment Self-hosted, managed, hybrid, multi-cloud
Support Community, business, enterprise, dedicated team
Services Implementation, training, certification, custom development

How to request a quote:

  1. Review the specifications in specs/
  2. Run the self-assessment in strategy/GRC_Claw_Maturity_Assessment_Expansion.md
  3. Contact aah@a2zsoc.com with your requirements
  4. Receive a custom quote within 48 hours

Benchmark Intelligence

GRC_Claw's benchmark intelligence compares your compliance posture against anonymized industry peers across every major framework, by industry cohort and org size. Percentile ranking per framework with opt-in anonymized contribution.

Key signals tracked:

  • Evidence freshness — how current your compliance evidence is across all frameworks
  • Policy denial rate — frequency of agent policy denials as a security posture indicator
  • Verifier acceptance — auditor and verifier network acceptance rates

Outcomes measured:

  • Audit cycle time — reduction in days from audit start to completion
  • Remediation latency — time from finding to verified remediation

Phase 38: Trust Transaction Network — Graph-First Category Control

The Trust Transaction Network is GRC_Claw's graph-first category-control moat — a signed, portable trust object format that auditors, insurers, procurement teams, MSPs, and AI platforms can consume without trusting the vendor. The Phase 38 graph-first category control roadmap defines how this network becomes the defensible category.

Every agent action, evidence artifact, and compliance decision becomes a signed trust transaction — a hash-chained, tamper-evident receipt that can be independently verified by any party in the network.

The network effect: every new tenant, verifier, and framework mapping increases the value of the trust graph. Competitors can copy dashboards; they cannot quickly reproduce a normalized, versioned, auditor-usable graph of controls, evidence, mappings, owners, systems, and attestations.

Hosted Platform & Commercial

GRC_Claw is the inspectable open-source engine. A2Z SOC is the hosted trust, evidence, and partner control plane for teams that need buyer-ready packets, recurring workspaces, white-label delivery, and senior advisory around CMMC, NIST 800-171, ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, GRC automation, and agentic AI security.

Offer A2Z SOC route Commercial shape
AI Assurance Passport /ai-assurance-passport $2,500 setup + $3,500/mo managed evidence desk
CMMC Procurement Readiness Desk /cmmc-procurement-readiness $999 triage → $3,500/mo readiness desk
Broker Trust Desk /broker-trust-desk $999/mo partner fee + $199–$499/mo client workspaces

Sovereign / Air-Gap Mode

Set SOVEREIGN_MODE=true to route all LLM traffic through a local Ollama instance. No data leaves your network.

export SOVEREIGN_MODE=true
grc sovereign init
docker compose -f docker-compose.sovereign.yml up

Contributing

GRC_Claw is MIT-licensed. PRs welcome — framework packs, language rules for the VS Code extension, additional Terraform resources, and connector implementations are the highest-value contributions.

git clone https://github.com/AAH20/GRC_Claw.git
cd GRC_Claw
npm install && npm run build
npm run test:comprehensive

Test results: 753+ tests passing, 0 failures.

See CONTRIBUTING.md for contribution guidelines, code style, and PR process.
