Subtitles are not downloaded for variants of language #914

Subtitles are not downloaded for this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nyrha9Oo_GM
I think it's due to the subtitle languages on the video being English (United Kingdom) and Chinese (Singapore), which are not language options in the subtitle field. My subtitle download settings are below, and subtitles successfully download for other videos.

I investigated this issue further and confirmed my suspicions, it's due to language variants.
Changing the line here from
{ code: 'en', label: 'English' }to{ code: 'en.*', label: 'English' }, taking advantage of yt-dlp's regex wildcards in subtitle selectors (documented here) downloads subtitles in English for the selected video. However I'm unsure if this is the direction the project would want to take as it conflicts with the English (Original/Uploaded) option.fix: download regional subtitle language variants
