A simple calculator in Python using Tkinter library (Used to create GUIs) I will try to stay as active as possible and solve errors. I will update this repo regularly adding new calculators (I already have some in mind but if you want a specific one i will try and code it). Feel free to make any suggestions!

Python-Calculator

A multi calculator in Python using Tkinter library. I will try and solve any issues you have. I will update this repo regularly adding new calculators (I already have some in mind but if you want a specific one i will try and code it). Feel free to make any suggestions!

This program was only tested on Windows so it may not work on other systems. (Might work on Linux, I coded it so it does, but it might have some errors.)

Requirements:

Python:

Check https://github.com/J1D1-7398/Python-Installation-Tutorial for a full tutorial on how to install python.

Tkinter:

⚠️ Before finishing the installation process, do these next steps:

When you arrive at "Optional Features", select "Tcl/Tk, turtle and IDLE" (turtle is not necessary but it comes bundled together)

Leave the rest untouched

Finish installation

⚠️ If you have python already installed but you don't have tkinter, do these next steps:

Check https://github.com/J1D1-7398/Python-Installation-Tutorial for downloading the installer.

When you have successfully downloaded the python installer (Preferably the latest version)

Execute the installer

Select "Modify"

Open Command Prompt and navigate to the directory where you have cloned/downloaded the repository. Remember to enter in the "Code" and the "APP" folder, where the python files are stored

When you have reached the directory in Command Prompt type

python main.py

✅ It should work fine!
