Abstract:
Since the release of RBS types with Ruby 3.0, many a post has been written about how to incorporate them into your project. These are helpful for getting up to speed on RBS and types in Ruby generally, but don't often cover adding them to a real world Rails application. I'll go through the experience we had adding RBS types to the app running ShelfLife and the libraries that help facilitate this (including rbs_rails and gem_rbs_collection).

Before joining tech, he worked in government for Homeland Security and served in the United States Air Force.
