After the selected ear reconnects, Heart Tracker keeps reading its old sensor objects and the graph freezes. Resolve the current wearable by device ID, clear stale readings while disconnected, and rebuild the PPG pipeline from the fresh connection. Exiting stops the current connection’s sensors.
Validated on Pixel 9a with two OpenEarables running 2.3.0: reproduced the frozen graph while fresh PPG arrived at 50 Hz; manual and automatic reconnect now resume the graph and 50 Hz PPG, preserve the other ear’s stream, and stop selected-ear sensors on exit. Automatic recovery took 1.55 seconds in the measured trial.
Validation: 129 Flutter tests, clean analysis, and Android release build. Includes a regression test for fresh-stream rebinding, selected-device isolation, and exit cleanup.
