Not implemented in the v1.2.0 revive cycle (#48, #49, #51). Caching has real complexity (per-URL, per-method, respecting upstream
Cache-Control/ETag, storage backend, eviction) that deserves its own design rather than a quick add. Closing this 2015 issue to clear the tracker — if it becomes a priority, please open a fresh issue with a concrete proposal (e.g. cache scope, storage, invalidation strategy).
Caching based on response Cache-control header and mostly caching all images and public sites via phpfastcache which supports all major caching types.
