Add site-wide AI-powered content insights

Explore AI-powered insights that analyze content across the site, such as identifying themes, gaps, trends, or opportunities. This is distinct from editor-level assistance and focuses on site-wide analysis.

This feature should be experimental and avoid automated changes.

Acceptance criteria:

• AI analysis operates across multiple posts or content types
• Insights are informational and non-destructive
• Results are presented clearly and accessibly in the admin
• Performance and cost considerations are documented

Thanks for raising the issue. I’d be interested in working on this, but before moving ahead, I’d like to clarify the direction we should take. I’ve attached a high-fidelity mockup generated with Claude Design to help visualize the proposed direction. The idea is to introduce different insight verticals that use post metadata to generate useful insights. By relying only on essential metadata, we would be trading some accuracy for reduced context size, but for this use case, that should be a reasonable balance.

For the first iteration, I’d prefer to keep the generation synchronous and persist the latest run so it can be referenced later. I’m planning to start with a smaller subset of insight verticals and expand iteratively from there.

If there are any specific verticals you’d like to see supported, or if you have suggestions on the overall approach, please feel free to share them. Once I’ve gathered the necessary input, I’ll be happy to move this forward.

@yogeshbhutkar Nice work here! As a concept, this looks great to me. Will be interested to see what sorts of results it can come up with and how useful they are but the design looks good to me.

We haven't really discussed what sorts of insights we should be targeting but I think what you have in the screenshot is a fine first step (maybe even too many items, could maybe trim it down for the v1 of this).
