The Collector pulls in data from 3rd party API services and stores it in CloudStore.
Singly – standardized social data API service
{
"services": {
"singly": {
"client": {
"id": "[SINGLY CLIENT ID]",
"secret": "[SINGLY CLIENT SECRET]"
}
}
}
}The Collector fetches data and asynchronously stores it at the requested CloudStore path. The CloudStore access token can be passed in as a query parameter or cookie.
For Singly, there are two ways to request data depending if your app already has a Singly access token for the user or a provider (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) access token. Generally, you will have a provider access token if your app handles its own OAuth flows. You will have a Singly token if you're using Singly's authorization flows.
When your app has a Singly access token ...
PUT /[CloudStore path]?token=[CloudStore ACCESS TOKEN]
{
"service": "singly",
"provider": "facebook",
"request": "/friends/facebook",
"service_token": "[USER'S SINGLY ACCESS TOKEN]"
}OR
When your app has a provider access token ...
PUT /[CloudStore path]?token=[CloudStore ACCESS TOKEN]
{
"service": "singly",
"provider": "facebook",
"request": "/friends/facebook",
"access_token": "[USER'S FACEBOOK ACCESS TOKEN]"
}When an access_token is provided, the Collector uses Singly's Custom Account Management feature to transparently fetch a Singly token and then fetch the requested data.
