Step 4 of the app-wide design plan. The image, video, audio, PDF, text, Markdown and email previewers, their full-screen views and their loading, prompt and failure states now draw from ardrive_ui's new generation only.
ArDriveOnDark draws its child with the dark theme's tokens in either theme, for a surface that is dark in both, such as a video's stage. The stage's words, spinner and button used literal whites before. Listed in the ardrive_ui README.
Previewers
One player chrome for the inline, full-screen and audio players: a flat primary play button, named icon buttons, times in tabular figures, one seek-bar style on tokens.
The speed menu ticks the current speed. On a phone it's the standard bottom sheet with a title (it was an untitled, low-contrast list).
Status states (loading, downloading, decrypting, large-file prompt, failure) on the new type, tokens, ArDriveSpinner and ArDriveLinearProgress. Preview unavailable and Too large use the same layout.
The preview card and its bar are one surface (containerRaised); the bar was a shade off.
Email attachments open in the standard dialog through showArDriveDialog. They bypassed the activity tracker.
The PDF bar, fallback card and Open button are on tokens and ArDriveButtonNew.
Bugs fixed
The play button had no accessible name, and the speed, skip, mute, page and image navigation buttons had no tooltip: a screen reader heard "button".
Copy said it copied even when the browser refused. It now says "Couldn't copy".
The type label under a preview (PNG, TXT) was under 2:1 on light. It's textLow now.
The inline plain-text view had no colour of its own.
About 30 hard-coded English strings in the document and email previewers are now in app_en.arb.
The full-screen player called setState inside setState.
Dead Courier New / monospace font names removed. The package's type styles prefixed them into families that don't exist, so text has always been Wavehaus. No visible change.
Shared file page
The players are shared with the recipient page. Only their own chrome changed there: times and icons use the text and icon tokens, which clear 7:1 on that card. The page around them is untouched (step 7). The raw-transaction preview on /view is also left for step 7.
Testing
flutter analyze: clean.
App suite: 4,027 passed, 5 skipped. The one failure in the first run (the sentence-case rule flagged "HTML") is fixed: the label is now "HTML source", which is what that view shows.
ardrive_ui: 190 passed.
New tests: named controls, the phone speed sheet, dark tokens on the video stage (it caught a real bug during the work), plain-text colour, the copy result, ArDriveOnDark.
Release build driven in the e2e harness against the Library QA drive: every public preview type, full screen, speed menus, phone width, both themes, and the shared file page. No uploads.
Open question
The app bundles no monospace face, so plain text and code render in Wavehaus. Adding one (roughly 100 KB) is a bundle-size call.
