User profiles

We think our main users fall into the following profiles:

New families

A family has just had a child diagnosed with Cri du Chat Syndrome. They have been given a link to our site or have Googled it, and arrived. They need:

1. A simply-worded explanation
2. Reassurance that life goes on and can be good
3. How to get in touch with people who will understand
4. Where to start

Existing families

A family has lived with CDCS for a while, but now needs more information about a certain aspect as their child grows up. They need:

1. Simple overviews of various subjects (possibly step-by-step guides if appropriate)
2. Links to more detailed information
3. Where to go to get advice

Fundraisers

Either a family member, relative, or friend of someone with CDCS wants to raise money to help. They need:

1. Links to create fundraising pages
2. Ideas on how to raise funds
3. Collateral (logos, images, text) to use for their materials.

Group Members

A family are members of the support group. They need:

1. Information on upcoming events
2. Information on accessing grants
