Issue while downloading on device blocklists #3114
Description
I'm on the latest alpha version, 251108e. I just installed the app and tried to download the on-device list, but the download gets stuck at 75% and then shows "Download canceled."
I then tried downloading the blocklists using the latest GitHub version, 0.5.6, but it stays on "Downloading" for a while and never completes.
I tried downloading using both Wi-Fi and mobile data, but I was still unable to download them.

Are you using Configure -> DNS -> In-app downloader?

The person messaged on telegram and reinstalled again and told it's working now. The other maintainer Hussain asked for log but op doesn't have any I guess the issue can be closed

Not all download issues are the same. The one reported here (for a particular "Alpha" release) has been fixed. Another major change we've made in v058 (or are going to make) is to only rely on the In-app downloader and not on Android's built-in Download Manager.

@ignoramous Just updated but same issue, tried both in-app and android's download manager. Here are the logs
App version: v0.5.8 (f-droid)
Device: Poco M8 Power 5G (26021PC18I)
Android: 16
