Documents multiple account support in the Chatwoot CLI (chatwoot/cli#44).

New page

CLI → Multiple accounts (cli/accounts.mdx) covers:

  • logging in once per instance
  • how accounts are named
  • listing accounts
  • picking an account with @name, -a or CHATWOOT_ACCOUNT, and use
  • which setting wins when several are given
  • pasted dashboard links
  • the → name line on stderr and --refresh
  • several users on one instance, logging out of one instance
  • upgrading from earlier versions

Updates across the CLI pages

  • Overview: the intro, the new login flow (URL and token, with every account registered), a "First commands" block, and uninstall notes.
  • Commands:
    • the grammar table now includes @account and dashboard links
    • @name and link examples in each section, and a tip that conversation IDs are only unique within an account
    • help center defaults are per account
    • whoami shows the target account, and the raw API uses the current account
    • new Accounts section, updated Auth section and -a flag row
  • Scripting:
    • name the account on both sides of -q | xargs pipelines
    • CHATWOOT_API_KEY applies to every account
    • a recipe for looping over all accounts, and don't call use from scripts
  • Agent skill: agents name the account on every command, and the CHATWOOT_API_KEY note.

mint broken-links and mint validate pass.

Merge after chatwoot/cli#44 is released.
