🔧 Installation

1️⃣ Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/dev-fusion-code/Notely.git
cd Notely

2️⃣ Create a virtual environment

python3 -m venv venv
# For Windows:
venv\Scripts\activate
# For MacOS/Linux:
source venv/bin/activate

3️⃣ Install dependencies

pip install -r requirements.txt

4️⃣ Set up configuration (Optional but recommended) Create a secrets.json file in the root directory:

5️⃣ Set up the database

python manage.py makemigrations
python manage.py migrate

6️⃣ Create a superuser

python manage.py createsuperuser

7️⃣ Run the server

python manage.py runserver

The application will be available at http://127.0.0.1:8000/
