Qt Timer App

A simple countdown timer application built with Qt6.

Build Instructions

1. Install Qt6 Development Packages

Fedora/RHEL:

sudo dnf install qt6-qtbase-devel qt6-qtmultimedia-devel

Ubuntu/Debian:

sudo apt install qt6-base-dev qt6-multimedia-dev

Arch Linux:

sudo pacman -S qt6-base qt6-multimedia

2. Build the Application

mkdir build && cd build
cmake ..
make

3. Run the Timer

./TimerApp

• Countdown timer with minutes and seconds input
• Start, Stop, and Reset buttons
• Large digital display
• Visual indication when timer reaches zero (red display)
• Sound alarm when timer finishes
• Desktop notification when timer finishes
