Ensure you have the following installed on your system:
- Git: For cloning the repository.
- Node.js 20 or later: The JavaScript runtime. npm ships with it and is the package manager used here.
Follow these steps to get the application up and running on your local machine.

By default, the application runs on port 3000, which is hardcoded in the dev script. To use a different port, run the dev server directly:
npx next dev -p 8080Alternatively, edit the dev script in package.json to change the port permanently.
In the project directory, you can run:
npm run dev: Runs the app in development mode.npm run build: Builds the application for production. You can build and run the app locally using Docker — no Node.js installation required.
docker build -t developers-do .docker run -p 8080:80 developers-doThe app will be available at http://localhost:8080.
The Docker build uses a two-stage process:
- Builder — installs dependencies with
npm ciand runsnpm run build, producing static HTML/CSS/JS in theout/directory. - Runner — copies the static files into an nginx image for serving. No Node.js is needed at runtime.
