Hi, I’m Kelvin.

I build things, ask a lot of questions, and keep coming back to the people on the other side of what we make.

Product engineer is one way to describe my work. It gives you a starting point. The fuller picture includes design, philosophy, curiosity, and a need to understand why something deserves to exist in the first place.

I’m interested in how people make sense of the world. What we trust. What we hope for. How the tools we use shape our choices, sometimes without us noticing. Those questions follow me into the things I build.

A little of the road here

My path has moved through industrial and product design, physical products, digital experiences, technical product management and operations. I studied Industrial and Product Design at KNUST, but much of my education has also happened in the work itself: building with people, meeting constraints, revisiting decisions and trying again with a different understanding.

There have been projects before the ones you see here. There have been challenges and changes of direction, and a lot of work that a profile can only partly explain. Oddsense and Shepherd belong to that longer journey. They carry lessons from what came before them.

I’m still making sense of those lessons. Experience has given me more questions to work with, and more respect for the effort it takes to bring an idea into the world and keep caring for it.

The questions I bring to the work

A product enters somebody’s life. It asks for their time, attention, trust, and sometimes much more. I think about what we owe that person.

Does what we’re making help them understand their choices? What behavior does it encourage? Where might it create confusion or harm? Can they question the information we put in front of them?

For me, those questions belong in the design and engineering decisions: the language on a screen, the assumptions in a calculation, the data we collect, the things we choose to make easy. I want the care behind an idea to survive its implementation.

I move between disciplines because the questions tend to do the same. Sometimes the next useful step is code. Sometimes it is a sketch, a conversation, or admitting that the original question needs another look.

Where that curiosity is taking shape now

I’m the founder of Oddsense. Our work brings together football intelligence, structured reasoning and responsible product thinking. It gives me a very concrete place to explore uncertainty, trust and the consequences of design.

  • Shepherd is the system we’re developing to turn football evidence into traceable, reproducible intelligence. Engineering and operational validation are ongoing.
  • The Oddsense Web App is the developing product experience around discovering, understanding and revisiting those insights. Its product foundations are established, with further design and development ahead.
  • The Oddsense website is our live editorial and educational home, which we continue to refine.

My part spans research, product direction, architecture, implementation and the work of keeping those pieces coherent. I use AI-assisted development, alongside testing, documentation and human judgment. The ability to build faster makes it even more important to understand what we are building.

Some of this work is private while it develops. What appears here is one part of an ongoing practice.

Beyond the repository

My interests also reach into responsible innovation, digital rights and the realities of building technology for African communities and markets. I value spaces where people can question what is becoming normal and imagine something more useful or humane.

In 2025, I received the SBWA+ Outstanding Industry Influencer Award. You can find more of my professional history and public conversations on LinkedIn.

If something here resonates

I’m glad you found your way here. I enjoy conversations with people who care about what they make, including those still finding the language or direction for it.

If you’re building, questioning, changing course, or trying to do work that feels true to you, we may have something to talk about. You’re welcome to say hello.

Still learning. Still building. One love.
