Upgrade from 2.2.0 to current

I've inherited some puppet code using v2.2.0 of this module. Would it be safe to upgrade to the current version or are there some incompatible changes?

@gerases The README.md has a Deprecation Warning section and there is also a CHANGELOG on the Puppet Forge.

@gerases When in doubt, run Puppet with --noop and --show_diff arguments and do a detailed review of changes.
