This kinda explains why we see the linkcheck failures all at once. I would have at least expected a bit of variance coming from new links checks, but it seems to not be here. Any ideas of what kind of jitter we could add to this? |

Backports sphinx-doc/sphinx#14424. I could also make this a standalone microproject and import that?
