Tags API counting same resource (post and/or document) more than once when applied to children or sibling tags

Issue with tag api counting tags down from a root

these are example i ran for myself and are a snapshot of my database.

Post tags applied. you can see some posts have been applied to more than one tags.

In this database example counts should be:

• team: 5 (all from children)
• developers: 5 (4 from children - one direct to itself)
  • backend: 3 (1 only from children - 2 direct)
    • database: 2
  • frontend: 1
• onboarding: 2
